Prescription for growth.

HUFBAUER, Gary Clyde

Prescription for growth. - 1993

Asserts that NAFTA critics have grossly exaggerated the impact of the trade agreement on the American economy. Points out that concerns about US industry and labour, and the degradation of the environment, predate NAFTA, and will persist whether the US Congress ratifies the Agreement or not. Concludes that directly and indirectly, NAFTA will help spur the creation of American jobs and income, not destroy them.
