Joseph, Cedric L.

Anglo-American diplomacy and the reopening of the Guyana-Venezuela boundary controversy 1961-1966 - [S.l.] Trafford Pub. 2008 - xvi, 522 p. : ill., 2 maps, ports.

Examines the primary documents of the administrations of John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Harold Macmillan, their special relationships, sympathies and predispositions towards Venezuela that permitted the reopening of the boundary issue at the expense of the long-term territorial integrity of Guyana. Establishes the collusion between Suriname's claim to territory in Guyana and the Venezuelan claim.
