Is of the view that non-formal education approaches for youth and adults widen the possibilities of combining economic analysis with key educational considerations such as equity, relevance of content, and quality of learning. Non-formal education programmes, or the adoption of non-formal features in educational programmes, also expand the range of choices in respect of critical economic concerns such as reducing wastage of resources, improving efficiency and cost effectiveness, and mobilizing larger amounts of resources.
