Summary, etc. Reports on a study of the disinfectant activity of lemon juice in water contaminated with the cholera agent, V. cholerae, together with certain water features that influence this disinfectant activity. The results showed that lemon juice can actively prevent survival of V. cholerae, but that such activity is reduced in markedly alkaline water.
