Action Plan includes - intetegrated planning and institutional development for the management of marine and coastal resources; Specially Protected Areas and Wildlife (SPAW); Information Systems for the Management of Marine and Coastal Resources (CEPNET); Assessment and Control of Marine Pollution (CEPPOL); and Education Training and Public Awareness for the Appropriate Management of Marine and Coastal Resources. Mechanisms for implementing the strategy are - Intergovernmental and contracting parties meetings; the Monitoring Committee; the Regional Co-ordinating Unit (RCU); the Focal Points; and the Caribbean Trust Fund and other contributions to the programme.
