Summary: Examines structural adjustment and employment issues in Grenada and notes that structural adjustments have impacted negatively on the employment situation. Consequently, there is a need for the design and implementation of new strategies. Identifies a need to embark on an aggressive export promotion strategy in order to penetrate the international market place. Notes that a Macro-economic Planning Unit has been set up for this purpose of preparing a medium term plan and elaborating on such a strategy.
