Summary: Results of survey indicate that a small number of information services in large organisations have and use electronic mail, and of those that do, the majority use it mainly for relatively routine and administrative activities. Advises that in order to maximise the potential benefits, electronic mail facilities should be readily available to potential users, and that it should be used on a wide scale, as part of the working environment.
