Examines USAID's projects in Haiti, which while a boon to business interests, do little to alleviate the poverty of Haiti's majority. Shows that US underlying agenda in Haiti is economic, whereby it would like Haiti to become a stable light-assembly industry enclave for US factories seeking a docile, economically desperate labour force.
