Summary: Highlights the main advances and achievements in regional cooperation activities, which are presented in an order reflecting the four major objectives contained in the strategic plan 2005-2015 viz, institution-building, human resources, development of statistical capacities, and strengthening of international cooperation. Presents a consolidated summary of all the statistical activities conducted by ECLAC: technical assistance and advisory services, holding of expert meetings, training activities, publications, and updating and development of databases.
