Studies the post-secondary non-academic sector in five Caribbean countries - The Bahamas, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. Synthesises the synergy that exists between workforce development and economic competitiveness and the economic and social tension that emerges when the delivery of post-secondary education and training opportunities is not aligned with demand. Identifies strategicl opportunities for new structures, relationships, policies and models that build multiple pathways between schools and work.
