Presents a synopsis of the evolution and achievements of the Association's involvement in global health over the past three decades. Reviews the changes taking place in the international public health domain. Positions CPHA within this context, through an analysis of the Association's strengths and weaknesses as well as the opportunities and threats (internal and external) that could influence CPHA's global public health capacity.
