Seeks to assess the prospects for an integrated labour market in the CARICOM Single Market and Economy within a tri-level context that incorporates macro, meso and micro factors. Suggests that the current approaches to integration at the multilateral and regional levels constitute the macro level factors, the meso-level factors are those aspects that may be peculiar to the Caribbean while the actual requirements for the realisation of an integrated labour market form the micro level considerations. Assumes that the interconnections and interplay of the factors at these three levels would determine the achievability of an integrated labour market.
