  <abstract>Describes the range and levels of programme offerings in tertiary level institutions in the Caribbean and pinpoints issues which need to be addressed in attempts to articulate these programmes.  Uses some United States, Canadian and Caribbean examples to illustrate articulation practices.  Describes the Caribbean experience in articulation so far and highlights the role of the Association of Caribbean Teritiary Insittutions.  Discusses some barriers to articulation as well as some strategies for promoting inter-institutional articulation.</abstract>
