Examines that aspect of the school planning problem which is concerned with assignment of secondary school students in Barbados to schools. Seeks to determine whether the use of the linear programming approach can result in improved allocations when compared with methods currently employed. Uses the linear programming approach to determine in which areas of the island there is excess school capapcity and where there i insufficient capacity.
