DE LA BASTIDE, M.A.
Case for a Caribbean Court of Appeal.
- 1995
Details several cases from the Caribbean which have gone to the Privy Council and the decisions which were handed down. Questions the appropriateness of placing on the members of the Judicial Committee the responsibility for determining policy for the people of the region. Concludes that the Caribbean's judges should be given the opportunity to fulfil more effectively the obligation they assumed when they took their oath of office.
